GRT Licensing

LICENSING OF GRASP AND RELEASE TEST

Clinically, the GRT is widely used in rehabilitation programs for conditions such as spinal cord injury and stroke, helping therapists track progress, tailor interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of specific treatment approaches. It is also employed in research settings, where it serves as a reliable outcome measure for studies investigating new therapies or technologies designed to improve hand function.

Licensing Tiers:

Tier 1

Clinical License for the individual purchasing the product. This agreement is executed online when the Grasp and Release test is purchased. There is no fee for this license, only that the purchaser is aware that the use of the Grasp and Release Test they are purchasing is meant for clinical implementation. The purchaser will not collect data for an academic or sponsored driven study within this agreement.

Tier 2

Academic License for use within an investigator driven study, that is or is not funded by a not for profit granting foundation/agency. This license can apply to primary investigators, graduate students, academic institutions, research institutes and healthcare institutes. An administrative fee will be applied to the execution of this license and Neural Outcomes Consulting Inc. will execute the license.

Tier 3

Industry License for a company or for-profit organization conducting a study or trial. This license requires a fee and the license is executed by Neural Outcomes Consulting Inc.
